After the establishment of HEAL Nepal, we had a long-term program in health and education, but we had limited resources and strength. But with the partnership with WVAF, now our program has been expanded with enough health workers, which has enhanced our health related service. With the guidance of WVAF with their expertise, their support, we now have enough funding, which help us run our program effectively. We are able to get better collaboration with the government.

HEAL Nepal's Adult Literacy Program in Sermathang, Helambu has been a transformative journey for me and fellow women. After years of prioritizing family duties, I now have the chance to learn English and Nepali again, all thanks to our dedicated teachers. This program has not only boosted my confidence but has also opened doors to new opportunities. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to HEAL Nepal, WVAF, and Stichting Nepal for their invaluable support.

We had the chance to learn more about child rights policy, including children's file management and child rights, when we began the training with WVAF. We were able to gain a detailed understanding of these topics. Before, we used to view things naturally, but now, with the assistance of WVAF, we are aware of children's rights, best interests, and families.

I am 20 years old. It has been 5 years since I have lived in Pokhara. Lakeside fests gave me the training for barista and now I am working at a resort. I work as a barista with the support provided by the Netherlands, WVAF and Jana Hiteshi Foundation.

As a result of the growing demand from the farmers in our organization, we distributed 100 beehives this year. This initiative was made possible with the financial support of WVAF Nepal and Stitching Nepal. Additionally, they provided funding to enhance the quality and branding of our honey, ensuring it is packaged in glass bottles for consumers.

Over the past year, we managed the sales and distribution of honey by working closely with farmers to collect, purchase, and sell our products. With the resettlement efforts and the support from WVAF and Stitching Nepal, our honey market has improved, particularly through the new packaging and branding in glass bottles. This support has been instrumental in elevating the quality and presentation of our honey, making a significant difference in our market presence and benefiting our farmers

I requested beehives, and I was generously provided with 10. Since then, the bees have thrived, and their numbers have grown.  After seeing my relatives successfully keep bees and earn a good income, I decided to give it a try. The results have been remarkable, with a bountiful harvest and increased income from the bees. I have now expanded from 10 to 13 beehives, and it's been a significant improvement for me.
